Bio :
I began my yoga practice ten years ago at NYC’s OM yoga, and moved to Los Angeles in 2006.   I completed the City Yoga teacher training while pregnant with my second child, and inspired by the  experience, went on to study prenatal yoga with Jessica Jennings.   I’m fascinated by the opportunities and challenges that pregnancy presents us with — how do we relate to our changing bodies? And to our  changing emotions?  Our changing roles in life? How do we allow ourselves to live deeply in our experience of pregnancy with all its joyous, curious, tired, nervous, excited, grumpy, beautiful, achy,  fierce energy? I am also a filmmaker. I directed the documentary Dr. Bronner’s  Magic Soapbox, which was released theatrically in 2007, and I’m currently working on a new film about a midwife.
